GLIWO (pronounced glee-wo)
Hello friends, family, whanau and supporters of ADJOAA. Excuse our silence. We’ve been busy getting our house in order and we are back full steam! In the coming weeks and months, we’ll be sharing with you all of our exciting developments.
Hope you like the new look and feel of our newsletter. As part of the changes to our bulletin, we are choosing to affectionately call the ADJOAA newsletter 'Gliwo' (pronounced glee-wo). A word chosen from the Ghanaian Ewe tribe, which means stories.
Gliwo better reflects our style of communicating with you, our community of readers. We cherish speaking intimately with you, as our friends and supporters, and letting you in on our triumphs, challenges, failures and learnings. We feel Gliwo, or storytelling, better captures our style and manner in which we talk with our family – our nearest and dearest – which is how we see you.
Our first and overdue Gliwo initiates you into the new style/world of our newsletter. The current and future Gliwo will be jam-packed with links to interesting articles, trending topics & news about African fashion and arts, insights, interviews, profiles and good summaries regarding the issues that matter most to us, as a Social Enterprise, which we hope, you, our loyal community, will also appreciate.
